Modern neuroscience has shown that relaxing images cause the brain to release high levels of serotonin, dopamine, and oxytocin, which reduce anxiety, block cortisol, increase neuroplasticity. medicine positions human beings as passive, helpless, in need external aid repair. However, man should be seen a being with physical spiritual power can repair himself far beyond this passive role. The common point all studies examined study is imagery, an internal skill, used low-cost effective mental therapy tool. Some have described imagery more method than pharmacological interventions. It application widely many diseases such psychotic disorders, cancer, asthma, migraine, hypertension, immune system diseases, disorders anxiety depression. technique, thought work defense mechanism drive satisfaction according psychoanalytic perspective, fields mindfulness-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral dialectic therapy. This review, first all, mentions use history, then describes current research on applications different diseases. In addition, it was written emphasize lack mechanisms by personal power, affect efficiency treatment, regardless or psychological help sought, encourage new research.
